Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween everyone! I know that it has been FOREVER since I last posted and I do apologize for that. After having a baby and moving halfway across the country I haven't had as much time for stamping as I would have liked. I also have had to leave my awesome basement crafting area and now all my supplies are in boxes littering our smallish dining room. It takes a lot more planning and effort to stamp now so easier tasks/projects take precedence :) Oh, and I'm a dummy and didn't bring any of my printed pictures so scrapbooking has been out of the question. I don't know about you but I can't make scrapbook pages any more unless I have pictures; otherwise my pages never get done!

Anyway, I'm going to do better if for the only reason that I HAVE to send cards out to our friends and family to show Elliott's holiday pictures. So to start we have the Halloween cards that I made for this year. I wanted to do something simple and I love all the different punch art you can make just by using the owl punch. I was going to make a witch owl and a ghost owl but since my card back was white I decided to make a bat owl instead. I used the 1 3/8" circle punch cut in half and the oval scallop punch to make the bat wings. Even though I wanted something simple these cards ended up taking a lot of work, simply because there were so many pieces. Next year I'm only making one owl :)

I hope everyone has a safe and happy day!
