Beach Honeymoon Part 3

When I find a new technique or idea, and it's super easy, I tend to go a little nuts and want to use said idea on every card/scrapbook page I make. This happened after I saw a card which used a piece of DSP folded over and I used this technique not once, but twice on this scrapbook page :)

This page is the last of the already made projects that I have and while I hope to have some new projects up soon, with a new baby -- and jury duty (yuck), I don't know if my updates will be as frequent. Bear with me and as soon as I get back on a schedule I'm sure there will be a lot of bashful blue scrapbook pages in our future ;)

Beach Honeymoon Part 2

Here are some more pictures from our beach honeymoon. For this page, I used the DSP to cut out my letters which gives the page a more embellished look, without actually using embellishments.

Beach Honeymoon Part 1

Jeremy and I took a ton of pictures when we were on our honeymoon and I have most of the beach pictures taken from our stay at the Isle of Palms. The Island Oasis paper is perfect for all those pictures and I've used that for all of my "beach" honeymoon pictures. One of these days I'm going to work on actually scrapbooking the rest of my Charleston pictures, at least that's what I tell myself ;)

Supplies
Stamps: Tropical Party (r)
Paper: Island Oasis DSP (r), Old Olive, Tempting Turquoise, Rose Red, So Saffron, Whisper White
Accessories: stampin' dimensionals, snail adhesive, glimmer brads - brights

My Digital Studio Hybrid

For this page, I created the design using My Digital Studio and then went to my craft room to recreate it. I don't use My Digital Studio alot but it is a really great tool to help you create layouts, regardless of whether you use the Stampin' UP! printing services (which are really awesome). This is definitely a simple page but I plan on using this page as the final page in my wedding scrapbook so I wanted to keep it a little on the simpler side.

Supplies
Stamps: Together Forever (r)
Paper: Melon Mambo Patterns DSP (r), Melon Mambo, Whisper White
Accessories: frost white shimmer paint

The Cottage Wall DSP is one of my favorites and I was very excited when, after it retired, they came out with the Sunny Garden DSP. This DSP is just like Cottage Wall except for the colors are different.

I also really love the owl punch -- he is just so cute and you can do so much with the punch, more than just making an owl. You can't see it in the picture but each of my owls are "wearing" a different piece of DSP so they're not all the same.

Supplies
Paper: Sunny Garden DSP, Poppy Parade, Peach Parfait, Whisper White
Accessories: 2 way glue, snail adhesive, 2 step owl punch, timeless type alphabet junior sizzlets die, 1/4" grosgrain ribbon - daffodil delight
