Scrapbooking Frenzy

I must have been in a very creative mood this weekend because I cranked out three and half scrapbook pages. I should get another order delivered tomorrow night and I hope to finish the 2 page layout that I'm working on and make two more with some of my new goodies.

The first page that I made this weekend was CASED from Rachel's September Scrapbook Club blog posting. I couldn't make it to her house for scrapbook club so I made it on my own here at home. I used the Play Date DSP and the Itty Bitty Buttons to create my own personalized embellishments. I love it in scrapbooking how you can start with the same layout and the actual pages can turn out so differently just based on DSP and color scheme choices.

For my second page, I used a page that we created during my first round in Rachel's scrapbook club. For the first page, I used pictures from a mini golf outing at Knight's Action Park. I still had some pictures from later in the day when some went Go Karting so I decided to change up the look of that page, reverse the layout and use a different color scheme so it was similar, yet different.

The final page that I made will be used for pictures that we took when Lauren, Andrew, Jeremy, and I went to see Into the Woods at the Springfield Muni. I had the idea to use DSP diagonally on a page and used My Digital Studio to layout the page and figure out my sizing and spacing. It's a little hard to see from the picture but I ran the old olive top note die through the Elegant Bouquet embossing folder and it gave it a very pretty, flowery touch to go along with the girly theme I was going for. I was extremely anxious about stamping the forest directly on the 12x12 cardstock but I think it turned out really well!

I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekend and as always please let me know if I can help you with any of your paper crafting needs:)

More Extreme Stamping

Here's another project that I made on our extreme stamping retreat. I CASED this scrapbook page from Stamping Connection, a social networking site for demonstrators. I used the fancy flower punch and tropical party set to cut out all the flowers but after putting it together Becky and I realized that it used the big shot die Island Floral. I used Crushed Curry, Rich Razzleberry, and Old Olive. Becky also made this page using Tempting Turquoise, Rich Razzleberry, and Pear Pizzazz. I think I'm going to make another page, using the big shot to cut the flowers, and steal her color combination because it is such a great combo!

Hope everyone is enjoying their Labor Day!

Xtreme Stamping Weekend

Last weekend I went on a Stamping Retreat with my upline Rae Anne and her sister (also my coworker and friend) Becky. It was a great weekend full of food, relaxing and stamping! I had such a great time and got several things crossed off my to do list.

One of the projects I wanted to finish was my cookie sheet calender. I was originally going to use a retired paper but replaced it with the lovely Island Oasis DSP from the summer mini catalog and thankfully my numbers were already made with Pumpkin Pie and So Saffron so it was really easy for me to switch DSPs. I originally put off finishing the project because I thought it would be too complicated but it was really simple to put together thanks to Rae Anne and Becky's help:)

Here's the finished project...well, almost finished, somehow I've misplaced my 3. I guess I better find it or make a new one before next month since that's my one year anniversary:)

Enjoy and if you wish to make your own calender let me know and I would be more than happy to help!
