Christmas in July

Earlier today I held a Christmas in July Stamp a Stack at my mom's house. We had six people here and had a FABULOUS time! This is one of the three cards that we made. The inspiration for this card came from a sample in the 2010-2011 Idea Book and Catalog (IBC), page 154. They took Four the Holidays and, using my new favorite tool the stampamajig, turned the one line stamp into two. The ornament in the top left corner is three punches glued together to give the card a three dimensional feel. I also used the new Jolly Holiday DSP and absolutely LOVE the unique twist on traditional Christmas red and green by using Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive.

Now if I could only figure out how we can have next year's Christmas in July on a weekday so we can all take off work;)

Supplies: Delightful Decorations, Four the Holidays; ornament punch, 3/4" punch; Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla card stock; Jolly Holiday DSP; Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive ink
